2005 YMCA Summer Camp

    The 2005 South Lake YMCA Summer Camp was once again a huge success.  The camp was held at Windy Hill Middle School off Hancock Road in Clermont.  As many as 60 kids attended in a week.  Activities included Games, Sports, Crafts, and Character Building discussions.  Field trips were taken weekly to destinations such as Gatorland, FunSpot, the RDV Sportsplex's IceDen and Watermania with campers and staff "riding in style" in chartered buses.  Campers were separated by ages and named their groups the Jedi's, the Wookies, the Warriors, and the Slow Mo's.  Groups competed in games and a weekly Bulletin Board Contest, with the winning group eating free pizza on Friday.
